Gerard's son Justin, unlike his cousin Kell, is a chip off the old block. A big chip. A solid, tall lad (or lass, poor girl) of forty five years or so loves the sea above all else. He has spent a great deal of time with his father and occasionally Caine on the seas near Amber, and time since then in shadow with sea-loving and sometimes war-loving cultures.

While Justin isn't slow, he likes to take his time thinking about a problem, which can resemble it. He, like his father, is known as unfailingly honest.

Justin is around six feet tall, with short, dark blond hair and brown eyes. His colors are the blue green of the Amber seas and white. His emblem is tall ship against the water.
