Journeying through the woods one day, I felt this... mystical pull to one side. So I went off to the left, with some trepidation as I left the comfortable little trail I was on.
Apparently this was right, however, as I came upon a strange creature, a sleek, foxlike creature, but.. bluish in hue? It was so difficult to tell in the fading light. And then a voice came from those animal lips - speaking english, but not very human at all, a thin voice, full of hiding and the night. "Greetings, Traveler," she says. "I am Nii, and I have been sent to observe you..."
I had been given a fantastic opportunity. It seemed that these elegant, sleek creatures were having problems surviving where they were, and were looking for worthy individuals to adopt their younglings, so that they might go somewhere more suited to them.
I sat , gazing at the egg I have been gifted with.
Finally, months upon months later, the egg has finally hatched! A beautiful silvery creature emerged!
Since then, Tarelan has grown up a lot... although maybe not as much as she thinks she has. :) Lately she's been begging me for a "little sister"... I finally decided to oblige her... kind of. :) And now the egg has hateched into a beautiful orange hatchling.
